Consignor Checklist

  1. Clean out closets and attic for items that are current and in great condition!
  2. Register for upcoming sale with current consignor number & password or register as a new consignor and get your number & make a password.
  3. Check Accepted Items Guide and Recalls (click on WeMakeItSafer link on home page) to see what can be sold.
  4. Returning Consignors activate any items from previous sale that are appropriate for the time of year.
    • -Access your account by signing in with consignor number and password
    • -Go to "Work with consigned inventory"
    • -Go to Inactive Inventory
    • -View all unsold, non-donated inventory from previous sale. (items you picked back up at end of last sale)
    • -Manually select the items that are seasonally appropriate for the current sale. Only activate items that you are bringing to the current sale.
    • Choose "make selected inventory ACTIVE for upcoming sale"
    • Now all of your seasonably appropriate selected inventory from previous sale, is active for current sale.
  5. Prep your items to sell!
    • Clean items (fresh, clean items sell the best), spin wrinkles out in dryer or iron.
    • Check battery operated toys to make sure they still work properly. Put in new batteries. (toys that can be tested sell better)
    • Organize clothing by gender and then size (smallest to largest).
    • Hang clothes and tape or zip tie any items together, put small pieces in ziploc bags, etc. *Please do not hang pants on thin wire hangers, use plastic or coated/sturdy wire and safety pin them on. Use large safety pins to attach them to sturdy plastic hangers. Check Dollar Tree or Walmart for affordable plastic hangers.

  6. Price and Enter Items (If you are short on time, we offer a tagging service.)
    • Check our Pricing Tips for any help you need with pricing.
    • Go to Consignor Log In and access account
    • Work with Inventory
    • Enter Items (see Tagging Guide in the Consignor Guides drop down menu for how to enter items)
  7. Tag Your Items
    • Print tags on white card stock or very sturdy paper to avoid your items having their tags ripped and lost.
    • See our Tagging Guide for info on where to place tags and how to attach them.
  8. Select a Drop Off Time (Bring stamped, self-addressed envelope to Drop Off for us to mail your check to you)
  9. Sign up for Volunteer Work Shifts- Remember, each shift you work, earns you an earlier shopping time! Those who volunteer 3 shifts earn 75% and those who volunteer 4 shifts and share 5 Facebook posts earn 77% of their sold items (contact This email address is being protected from spambots.   10. Consignor with no volunteer shifts earns 70%. One $9 fee per consignor number.
