Volunteer FAQ's

There are some lessons we've learned along the way, and it is always exciting working with new volunteers and old friends.  On this page we will gather some experiences that will make our sale the best it can be for volunteers, shoppers and consignors!

1.  Can I bring my kids to my shift? .......While we love kiddos, we ask that you do not bring your children with you.  There are times that are very busy which would be difficult!

2.  What are the benefits of volunteering with Twice As Nice? ......SHOPPING EARLY!! For every shift you work, you get to shop even earlier.  Working 3 shifts allows you to earn 75% for that sale. And, working 4 shifts with 5 Twice As Nice Facebook shares on your FB page to your public feed allows you to earn 77%. (contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for details on the FB sharing!)

3.  What kind of jobs are there to do? ......Organizing, straightening, helping customers find items, returning items to racks and tables, monitoring the dressing rooms/bathrooms, removing tags for checkout, etc.  Sign up with a friend for a shift and have some fun!

4.  What should I do if I can't make it to my shift? .......  We understand that emergencies come up in everyone's life from time to time.  Please call as soon as you realize you can't make it so we can find a replacement.  But, for most cases we will charge a $10 penalty on your consignor account if you fail to come. The reason we do this, is that receiving a presale pass for signing up for shifts has a tremendous value, and is thus, unfair to use and then not keep your committment to volunteer.

5.  How long is a shift? ........ 3 hours per shift.
